Aimee Sinclair

Owner

  • My name is Aimee Sinclair and I’m the owner of Aimee Sinclair Fitness and co-owner of SweetCheeks Co. resistance bands. I’m a personal trainer, exercise science professional, weight-loss coach, and an online flexible dieting coach. My focus is creating individualized programs designed around the human body mechanics with a focus to build strength, mobility, flexibility, balance, stability, endurance, and improving overall functionality. I have been a personal trainer for twelve years and an online flexible dieting coach for seven. I am certified with CanfitPro and Precision Nutrition with my primary focus being to help people achieve improved health, mind, body, and soul. I believe health isn’t just one area of our lives but is achieved by looking into all depths of what will help us to improve our body's overall performance.  I have fallen in love with researching scientific studies on endless topics of health that allow me to compare different strategies and outcomes.  We're all different so there is no cookie-cutter approach as we are all unique. My personal experience in my fitness journey and personal health history is what makes me great at what I do.  We can achieve so many things we didn't know to be possible. When I started, I couldn't do one push-up and after many battles with my own health and recovery, it is absolutely beautiful what the brain and body can overcome with the right approach.  I have learned what is possible for the human body and what can be achieved at any age, It's never too late to start.  My clients and I have a 50/50 relationship. They make the decision to do this for themselves and together we work towards attaining their goals.  It's important to me to make exercise fun, realistic, informative, self-rewarding, and positive.  Motivating people to be the best version of themselves is what I love waking up to every day.

Meghan Risto

Personal Trainer & Class Instructor

  • My name is Meghan Risto. I am the owner of Meghan Risto Fitness.  I am a Personal Trainer and work with individuals on improving their overall health. I started on my health journey with resistance and strength training. I focused on improving my overall health with the right program for my body. As I aged, I noticed changes happening and wanted to make the most of staying on top of my best health. I started personal training with Aimee at that time. I fell in love with it! I enjoyed everything from learning new exercises, proper form, lifting tempos, and techniques to how to change body composition. I learned how to do this with the right mentality, and while making it a lifestyle. I looked and felt better! Seeing results is so satisfying. I considered fitness as a career a long time ago, but life had other plans for me then. I finally decided that it was time to get certified and now I get to live my dream of helping others achieve improved health!  I love resistance and strength training. I want to be able to give others the guidance, motivation, and tools that they need to achieve their own individualized fitness goals, and live a healthier lifestyle. I offer both in-person and online coaching. I travel to my clients and am excited to have a space like Aimee Sinclair Fitness to help push you to your goals!

Karen Phillips

Class Instructor

  • I have always been active in my life and enjoyed things like skating, gymnastics, track and field, volleyball, baseball, and dancing competitively.  I loved to dance so much that I taught dance classes throughout high school.  Later in life, I settled down, married, and had a family.  It became harder to find the time to be as active and to have that time for myself.  I later moved to Huntsville and I wanted to find some time for myself again.  To be more active and also get back to feeling more comfortable in my clothes again.  I was walking and riding my bike but found it just wasn't enough.  I joined Goodlife and signed up for classes and discovered lifting weights.  I loved it!  It felt so great to be back at it again.  I started teaching BodyJam, a dance-inspired class in 2006, and a class called BodyPump, a weight lifting-inspired class.  I enjoyed this so much that I went and got my certification as a Fitness Instructor Specialist through CanFitPro.  After a few years of teaching at Goodlife in Huntsville, they closed their doors.  I decided to start my venture and open KP Fitness.  I began renting space and teaching Boot Camp Classes.  Soon after I started working at a local gym Saturday mornings.  In 2018 I became certified in Strong Nation.  I recently added Facebook live virtual fitness classes.  I am excited to now offer classes at Aimee Sinclair Fitness in addition to this.  I can't wait for you to experience this great bodyweight workout with me!!

I love those moments of magic in class when the music is pumping and we are all moving in sync that gives us all the power to push ourselves to the next level! Goosies!

Elyse Stangl

Class Instructor

  • My name is Elyse and I have been teaching Pilates and Barre for almost 10 years. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing people’s bodies get taller, stronger, and more aligned right before my eyes. It feels amazing when you can help someone feel more comfortable in their body. I love to work with and am experienced working with all bodies - including pre or postnatal, scoliosis, osteoporosis, rehabilitation, and athletes. The beauty of Pilates is that it can be for anyone!
